Wonderful Whistler Week

Had to share some of our highlights of our amazing Whistler vacation week with our dear family out East. We had up to 15 adults sharing meals at our Condo for 10. It was a blast having so many of our lovely family stay in our home for several days before and after Whistler. Thankfully we took a few pictures to make us smile when we're homesick (feeling that way now). I will let the pictures speak mostly for themselves.... Enjoy our adventures, may they entice you to visit us soon!

A last minute hike right before it got dark. It was then or never on this very rainy weekend. Dave was there, he was just taking the picture!

Evidence of the girls skiing! Thanks for sticking with my preggers self on the slopes girls!
Dad and Dave had to call for a ride after they got lost on the slopes and ended up several km's from the intended destination (our ski condo)

Three very snowy brothers enjoying the powder!

Jamie got a little stuck in a creek following a very competent and powder crazed, Greg.

Three boys venturing into the 'Danger Zones' for some "extreme powder". Not sure if this is the run that Uncle Tom suffered his causality or not but I'm sure it was similarly marked.

Two very sleepy girls having a nap after a busy morning playing in the snow.

"Mommy, Daddy, a big cow to ride!" (Notice Emily in the background, she is milking the cow...:)

A family pic to document our travels to Whistler, site of the Winter Olympic Games

The girls felt right at home walking independently down the streets at Whistler village.
A sleepy little Kara took a ride on Daddy's shoulders and Emily rode on Mommy.

A park we found in the Whistler village! Right next to a sweet coffee shop and a candy store!

Emily and Kara enjoying a ride in the Blackcomb Gondola that went right by our Ski Condo.

After hours the Gondola was free! The girls were ecstatic to finally have a ride on the "hanging swingers" (Gondola)

Dad trying to throw snowballs at us as we passed our Ski Condo in the Gondola.

It was so nice to see Lisa and Mike for dinner and to talk everything baby as we are both due in the month of June!

Emily got tired on one of our walks and found a very willing Grandpa to give her a lift

My little lady of many faces making faces at one of her favourite Uncles, Uncle Jamie.

Emily and Grandma enjoying an afternoon nap.
Kara playing hairdresser

Even a sleepy Grandpa got the special treatment :)

A wild game of Settlers, one of the many.

Emily letting Rob know how it is...

But really just loving all the attention from her ever attentive Uncle Rob.

Cuddles with Uncle Fred were a daily thing with both the girls

Last pics before we parted for the longest stretch apart yet....:(

Family shot (missing a few key aunties)

The Whistler Ski bunnies cousins pic, just missing Greg who didn't come back to Chilliwack with us.
