Day 3- Monday, June 6, 2011
This morning we woke early. Maybe it had something to do with all 4 of us sharing the space of two sleeping bags on our bedroom floor- a very restless sleep to say the least as Emily and Kara are wild sleepers. The movers came as scheduled and were done unloading before 11. We spent the rest of the day digging ourselves out and completed the kitchen and about half our boxes by dinner time. We were exhausted and lacking food so we were super thankful when a young couple (Kristy and Graham) from the previous years residency program called us to come over for dinner. We had actually two options that night for dinner with soon to be 2nd year residents. What a blessing to not have to think of dinner! On top of that, Kristy and Graham have two little girls Nora (3) and Chey (9 months). Kara and Emily were delighted to play with their new friends and their toys.
That night Dave and I shopped around on-line for furniture and had a great late night talk over tea about our goals and all that we were thankful for.
